REQUIRED MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Good organizational skills
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills and a helpful attitude
• Familiar with the operation of office machines (copiers, fax, computers, multi-line phone system)
• Familiarity with the Broadmoor neighborhood and the New Orleans area
• Ability to multi-task and take initiative
• Computer experience (to include knowledge of Microsoft XP or Vista, Excel, Word, Internet Explorer)
NEW ORLEANS, Dec. 11, 2007 — AT&T Inc. (NYSE:T) announced today a $50,000 grant that will equip the Rosa F. Keller Library and Center with advanced telecommunications services and equipment to provide residents of the Broadmoor area with access to wireless Internet and public computers.
The grant from the AT&T Foundation, the corporate philanthropy organization of AT&T Inc., will assist the Broadmoor Improvement Association and Broadmoor Development Corp. in restoring the library and community center, which has been identified by the city of New Orleans as one of 17 Target Recovery Zones. Renovations of the facility, which was severely damaged by Hurricane Katrina, are expected to begin in January 2008.
Volunteers from Broadmoor, The Hornets, Americorps and the Church of Annunciation built this playground in one day! The playground is located at the corner of S. Derbigny and Jena, just a couple of houses away from BIA Office! Thanks to everyone who helped out! It looks great! !!!!
