Lead Testing at Community Swap Meet
The BIA is partnering with the Tulane School of Medicine's New Orleans Children's Health Project to provide lead screenings to area children. Testing will occur on November 7, 2009 at the Broadmoor Community Swap Meet from 11am-2pm at Gloria Dei Church, 2021 S. Dupre St.
The tests are subsidized by the BIA at $3 for children 6 and under, and $6 for children over 6. Please read the attached pamphlet for more about risks associated with lead in urban areas.
