In late January, the Bard College students conducted a full survey of the repair and occupancy status of every property in Broadmoor. This was the sixth (T6) recovery status survey of the Broadmoor neighborhood conducted since the flood. Bard College and the Harvard Kennedy School's Broadmoor Project have been conducting a longitudinal study of recovery in Broadmoor with these time slice measures at six-month intervals. The results from the T6 (January 2009) survey are complete.

82.2% of properties in Broadmoor are completely repaired or have repairs actively underway. 64.3% are complete and 18% under active renovation.
These numbers show amazing progress and great success in Broadmoor's recovery. There is much to be celebrated here. But it also shows how much work is left to be done. The BIA and BDC are working diligently toward a 100% recovery rate.
