It is going to take all of us to rebuild Broadmoor. As we begin implementing the Redevelopment Plan for Broadmoor, we have all transformed into ambassadors and fundraisers for our community. Now is the time to tap into our personal networks across the city, state, country, and world to help rebuild Broadmoor, as well as continue to rely on ourselves to give what we can when we can.
The Broadmoor Development Corporation is building capacity to manage the implementation of the Redevelopment Plan and will soon release several ways we can all participate in rebuilding a better Broadmoor. Stay tuned and remember BIA appreciates you! _________________ LaToya Cantrell, BIA President |

Let's take the McHardy's News Stand and make it an asset for the community. The BCDC could open a snowball/slushie/hot choc stand to support the Playspot. Have public bathrooms and a large open window for sales; have a bricked outdoor seating area with chairs, tables, umbrella, benches, etc for patrons year-round. So this could offer jobs and an income for the BIA. We could also feature local papers, free and for sale; small dollar confections and other items such as magazines, etc. chips, etc.
OKAY - just a thought. bunny |
