Monday, April 7


•9 a.m.-noon: Broadmoor Food Pantry at Gloria Dei Lutheran Church (2021 South Dupre Street)

•10-11 a.m.: Fussy Baby Network at Keller classroom;

•11--11:30 a.m.: Storytime for babies in toddlers in Keller children’s room;

•4-6:30 p.m.: New Orleans String Project in Wilson music and choir rooms;

•5-6:30 p.m.: "Budgeting, Saving and Building Credit": at Keller. Sponsored by Capital One and the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta. Treats and giveaways provided;

•6-7:30 p.m.: Insight Meditation in Keller meeting room;

•6:30-9 p.m.: PlayNOLA in gym; and



Tuesday, April 8

•2-3 p.m.: Income Tax Q & A in Keller classroom with certified accountant Le Fleury. Sponsored by LDW Tax and Accounting Services.

•3:30-5 p.m.:Youth Run NOLA;

•4:30-6 p.m.: Homework Help at Keller;

•5:30-6:45 p.m.: At Keller. "Money Smart Week: Family Storytime, Craft and Book Giveaway": Sponsored by Capital One and Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta. All ages welcome.

•6-7 p.m.: English Conversation Circle: This group will provide a supportive, relaxed environment for those who want to strengthen their English-speaking skills.  Join us for easy conversation and new friendships.  Tuesdays from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m.  Designed specifically for the ESL community;

•6-7 p.m.: Zumba in Keller classroom; and

•6:30-9 p.m.: Play NOLA in the gym;


Wednesday, April 9

•5-8:15 p.m. New Orleans Ballet Association lessons in cafeteria;

•5:30-7:30 p.m.: Cooking Matters in Keller kitchen;

•6-7 p.m.: Spanish Conversation in Keller sitting room

•6:30-8:30 p.m.: Broadmoor Basketball Association practice in gym;


Thursday, April 10

•10 a.m.-noon: Drop In and Play in Keller children’s room

•3:30-5 p.m.:Youth Run NOLA;

•4:30-6 p.m.: Homework Help at Keller;

•5:30-7 p.m.: At Keller. "Understanding Credit with broker and consultant Patricia Hightower": This informational program for adults is sponsored by Bayou Equity Mortgage.

•6-8:30 p.m.: Broadmoor Basketball Association practice in gym; and

•7- 8 p.m.: Zumba in Wilson cafeteria;


Friday, April 11

•3:30-5 p.m.: At Keller. Spring Egg Dyeing. Join us for a fun, free afternoon of egg-dyeing at the Keller Teaching Kitchen.  Open to all ages.  

Saturday, April 12


•9:30-10:30 a.m.: Kids’ Cooking Class at Keller. Five Saturday sessions, beginning April 12. Children 6 to 12 years old will learn how to make simple, healthy , delicious snacks and meals the whole family can enjoy.  Register at the Keller Community Center or call 821-6633.  

•10 a.m.-noon: Basic computer tutoring: one-on-one assistance from Keller library staff with the Internet, general computer skills, online web searches, software use and accessing resources at the library using various electronic devices;

•10 a.m.-1:45 p.m.: New Orleans Ballet Association lessons in cafeteria;

•10 a.m.-2 p.m.: Broadmoor Basketball Association practice in gym;

•10-11 a.m.: “Welcome Baby.” Informal parenting support group for new moms, dads, caregivers and their new babies;

•10 a.m.-noon: Citizenship class at Keller;

•10:30 a.m.: Spring Egg Hunt at Keller with stories and the hunt. All ages.

•11 a.m.-noon: Yoga for Everyone in Keller meeting room;


Sunday, April 13 (Keller Community Center will be closed on Sundays until further notice)
